Our programme of work

The voices of athletes, participants and other stakeholders are at the heart of the work of the Establishment Board and Integrity Transition Programme.

The Establishment Board, Māori Advisory Group and Integrity Transition Programme engage with stakeholders from the sport and recreation sector and New Zealanders to:

  • design the functions required to achieve the purpose and role of the Integrity Sport and Recreation Commission;
  • apply a te ao Māori lens to the design of the new agency and ensure this work upholds te Tiriti o Waitangi;
  • develop a national Code of Integrity for sport and recreation;
  • design an approach to competition manipulation; and
  • support the introduction of new legislation to support a strengthened integrity system.
